Occupation Description

Cartographers and photogrammatrists gather, study and interpret information provided by geodetic surveys, aerial photographs, and satellite data in regards to geography. Understand and implement findings to prepare maps and other spatial data in digital or graphic form for legal, social, political, educational, and design purposes. They also work with Geographic Information Systems and may plan and study algorithms, data structures and user interfaces for GIS and mapping systems.
