Rehabilitation Counselors
Occupation Description
Rehabilitation counselors counsel individuals to take full advantage of the individuality and employability of persons coping with personal, social, and occupational troubles that result from birth defects, illness, disease, accidents, or the stress of daily life. They often direct activities for tenants of care and treatment amenities and evaluate client needs and plan and implement therapy programs that may include personal and occupational counseling, training, and job placement.
