Occupation Description

Airline pilots, copilots, and flight engineers pilot and direct the flight of fixed-wing, multi-engine aircraft, usually on a schedule for the transport of individuals or goods. Requires Federal Air Transport certificate as well as earning rating for specific aircraft type used. Includes regional, National, and international airline pilots and those that instruct them.
