Occupation Description

Semiconductor processors implement any or all of the following tasks in the production of electronic semiconductors: saw formed ingots into segments; locate crystal axis in ingot using x-ray apparatus and saw ingots into wafers; load individual segment into crystal growing chamber and monitor controls; load semiconductor material into furnace; and polish, clean and load wafers into series of chemical baths, special purpose furnaces, apparatus used to form circuitry and change conductive properties.
