Occupation Description

Respiratory therapists evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing maladies. They also accept primary accountability for all breathing care modalities, including the management of respiratory therapy specialists. Duties can also require them to initiate and conduct therapeutic measures; keep patient records; and select, assemble, check, and control apparatus.
