Occupation Description

Physician assistants deliver healthcare services normally performed by a doctor, but do so under their supervision. They conduct comprehensive physicals, deliver treatment, and counsel patients in many areas. In some cases they are able to prescribe medicine. They must complete accredited education programs for physician assistants before entering the field.
