Occupation Description

Operations research analysts create and apply mathematical modeling or a variety of other optimizing methods to understand information that assists management with decision making, policy creation, or functions. They also collect and study data points and develop software that will help with making decisions. They may create and provide optimal time, cost, or logistics networks for program evaluation, review, or use.
