Occupation Description

Network and computer systems administrators install, configure, and upkeep an organization's or client's local and wide area networks (LAN, WAN), and internet systems, or a specific portion of a network system. They oversee the network to ensure no issues arise and access to the end user is open. They also work on necessary maintenance to upkeep network availability in many cases and oversee and test website performance to ensure it is correctly working without interruption. Some help in network modeling, testing, development and coordinating between network, data communications hardware and software. They may oversee technical support specialists in the network and computer user field and provide network security measures.
